An early Colonial Virginia Family. Molly James Hayes married Dale Palmer circa 1792 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Thomas Hayes (III) names Molly James Hays as his daughter in the 1789 writing, and proving, of his will. Thomas Hayes (III) was married to Chloe James. He was the son of Thomas Hayes Jr. who died in 1761 in Northumberland County. (The Hayes and James lines are farily well researched back several generations.)
